Description: Antibodies are major components of humoral immunity. IgG (immunoglobin G) is the main type of antibody in human circulation system. IgG antibodies are large globular proteins of about 150 kDa made of four peptide chains (two heavy chains and two light chains). Human IgG can be divided into four types: IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4. BioTimes recombinant human IgG1 isotype control is expressed in CHO cells and has no relevant specificity in human. It can be used as the isotype control to differentiate non-specific background signal from the specific signal. Human IgG4 isotype is tested by its ability of binding to Fc gamma receptor (CD64).
