Source: Recombinant Human TGF-beta 1 (accession number P01137) (Ala279-Ser390) is expressed in HEK293 cells.
Molecular Weight: The 112 amino acid protein has a predicted molecular weight of 12.8kDa. The protein migrates at approximately 13kDa on SDS-PAGE with DTT-reduced condition and at approximately 25kDa on SDS-PAGE with the non-reduced condition.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 50mM Glycine-HCl, 150mMNacl, pH2.5.

Endotoxin Level: Less than 0.1 ng/ug (1 EU/ug) as determined by LAL test.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage and Handling: Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
